Since 25 years, our engineers are developping instruments for soft and
half-hard materials characterization - Like silicones, soft polyurethans, foams,
soft industrial parts... as well as surgical implants, muscles during surgery..
APOLLINAIRE100X is our latest instrument, integrating all top technologies from
electronics and computers. A tip mounted on a precision spring moves more or less
depending on the hardness of the material tested. The tip has a length of 2.54 mm
(0.1 inch) when it is completely free. The range is divided into 10 000 steps which
means a step each 0.08 microns.
A sensor is linked to a PC, mini-PC or tablet through a usb connector. This tube is powered by
the usb connector, and sends back the data to the PC. A windows interface manages the sensor,
memorizes the data, traces curves and give statistics. The APOLLINAIRE100X does not
constitute an autonomous system as far as it has to be connected to a PC in order to
work. If you require an autonomous system, ask for a documentation about APOLLINAIRE 100
which is embedded with a screen and rechargeable batteries
